Obtaining Legal Advice from the Office of the General Counsel

Please read our FAQ on Legal Advice & Services which explains to whom we are able to give legal advice. If you are a member of The University of Arizona community and believe that you are working on an issue for which you need legal advice, please follow these steps:

  1. Talk to your Dean, Department Head, or Unit Administrator. The Office of the General Counsel accepts requests for legal advice from Administrators, Deans or Department Heads only.
  2. When appropriate to seek legal advice from our Office, please complete our online form and fax or deliver it to our Office along with any background information or material that may be pertinent.
